FAQ

GENERAL APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES:

As of right now, we prefer clients to come by themselves to their scheduled appointments. This is done in order to minimize distractions to the creative process and to give each client the utmost attention during your session.

It is encouraged to bring snacks and drinks with lids to your tattoo appointment. As per health department regulation, food is not allowed near the work area. During breaks, we recommend snacking to give your body fuel and make the tattoo experience better. We also recommend headphones, chargers, a blanket and devices to distract yourself (ipad, phone, book, etc). Proper hygiene is incredibly important so please shower before your appointment and apply deodorant. Perfume and body spray is not recommended and you should plan to dress in comfortable clothing that allows access to the area we will be tattooing.

  • No, we do not tattoo anyone under 18 at this time. You MUST be 18 to get a tattoo with us and provide a valid form of government-issued identification that includes a name, birthdate, and signature. We are required by the health department to copy the ID of all clients on to a release waiver that states you are of age and consent to the procedure.

  • We are very diligent about sanitation and cleanliness. You will notice we utilize the highest quality tools and supplies. Everything the artist touches will have a barrier to protect both you and themselves from cross-contamination. When receiving a tattoo, our setup is single-use and is properly disposed of when completed.

We work very closely with the City of Sioux Falls’ health department to make sure that we are using every precaution and procedure necessary to keep our environment incredibly safe and sanitary for all of our clients and staff.

  • We are typically by appointment only, but we will post on social media if there is time for a same-day or walk in appointment. We highly recommend following Instagram to keep informed on availability.

  • Tattooing is a pretty big deal as we are permanently altering your body, so for us, a free consultation is required. This allows our artists to not only make sure they are a good fit for your project, but to also make sure you feel heard, respected, and willing to move forward with your decision. To get started, please fill out the Tattoo Inquiry Form.

  • We strive to ensure our clients feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable, while also, providing an ideal environment free of distractions for both the client and artist. Only clients are allowed to the appointment at this time, and any extra guests will be asked to leave. If multiple people are getting tattooed together, we will accomodate everyone so you get the shared experience.

  • Cash is preferred for tattooing services but we also accept all major credit cards. There is a 6.5% sales tax for all services and products applied at checkout.

  • Artists take deposits to protect the time they have committed to your project and to ensure a scheduled date is confirmed .

A $200 deposit is required for all tattoo and design day appointments. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel within 48 hours, no-show your appointment, or don't want a tattoo anymore, you will lose your deposit. All rescheduled appointments outside the 48 hour window will not lose deposits and they will be transferred to the new date. The deposit will be applied to the final price of a tattoo. If your tattoo project requires multiple sessions, it will always be applied at the final appointment.

  • All finished tattoos have a 6-month guarantee from the time of completion. A scheduled touch-up session will be free within the 6-month period. If the tattoo requires extensive touch-ups due to neglect from the client or by not following the artist’s warnings or aftercare instructions, a touch-up fee may be charged. We always recommend showing us your tattoo in person around 4-6 weeks after completion to best guage if your tattoo needs a touch-up.

  • We will not use our art and skills to support hate culture of any kind. We actively refuse to do any designs that are gang related, have ties to supremacist activity or human trafficking.

We do not tattoo all styles and subject matter, so it is best to send in a consultation request through our Tattoo Inquiry Form. We will set up a free consultation to discuss your personal project at length. If your project is NOT accepted, we will educate you why it was rejected and offer alternate options or refer you to an artist we feel is better suited for your idea.
